Water supply in the region

In order to maintain the supply of drinking water, we have already had 38 groundwater wells drilled. A hand pump is used to provide the drinking water for humans and animals. The local administration is promoting irrigation facilities for the farmers on an increasing scale Some families use such water - which comes from an artificial lake - for daily use, even though it is not classified as drinking water.
